This review was given In a clear and concise con-cise manner, but not without a ring of sarcasm in the voice of the reviewer, review-er, who bravely but truthfully portrayed por-trayed Dr. Wright's views against the "feminine fitness" for the highest function In matters of state; calling forth smiles and comments from the various members, present, expressive of the Inner feeling, that with all Dr. Wright's learning and high standing in certain matters of science, there was still much for him to learn about the psychology of women In general and her use of the ballot for civic righteousness where given the opportunity. oppor-tunity. MrB. Bishop then followed with a forceful and convincing portrayal of Ellen Key's theories regarding women wom-en In, the home, in religion, and in society; basing these theories on a careful survey of her history from primitive man to the present .time, and on Mrs. Key's personal study of the woman movement for the- .last fifty years, and ending with a fine tribute to womans' equal station with man in all the higher functions pertaining to the good of the race. Miss Josephine Seaman assisted Mrs. Bishop in her reading, and during dur-ing an Interval in the program, Miss Margaret Bishop read in a pleasing manner "The Mysteriarchs" by Bliss Carman.
