Show OGDEN TEAM IS PI PBACTICE Saturday afternoon at Glenwood the Ogden baseball team of the Union association as-sociation defeated the Denver &. Rio-Grande Rio-Grande amateur team of Salt Lake by tho score of 21 to 1. The game proved good "stick" practice for the locals and they swatted out 21 hits, Captain Seabough leading off with 4. Roosback, Woolums, Jones, Cobb and Rlsberg each got three to their credit, Murphy got two and the others one each. For the D. & R. G., Juklin, Barstad and Shay each made two hits. Galgano was on the mound for Ogden Og-den for the full period and Ambrose and Ready worked the same position for the visitors. The latter went in at the opening of the sixth inning and hit Murphy In the back so bard that "Dad" Gimlin thought best to take tho Injured man out of the game, after letting him make the circulL Ho also hit Carnes on the hand. Ready haB lots of "smoke," as Murphy will testify. tes-tify. The "fans" had plenty of amusement amuse-ment throughout the game, but Cobb put on a specialty in the eighth inning in-ning vthat was a winner.
