PARTRIDGE OUT FOR MAYOR OF SAN FRANCISCO san francisco cal sept 22 the republican municipal convention tonight nominated john SP artridge or mayor partridge is deputy city attorney it is expected that he will be in by tha democratic ton bention tomorrow night the delegates controlled by aba ruef who were in the minority did not propose a candidate but voted no when the roll was called on partridge s nomination the platform framed by tha committee named by the republican league majority was adopted and an opposition platform proposed by tho ruet delegates and commending the administration of mayor was voted down the committed commit teo on credentials agreed to the seating of the rexf delegates from the thirty eighth a contested district this action is believed to have forestalled a possibility of the ruet minority bolting from the convention when called for an address sir partridge said thai issue of tha campaign will be that jofh it I 1 am elected I 1 promise to redeem san francisco from cor antion ter naming a mayor the conven i adjourned till tomorrow night when the ticket will be completed
