It is claimed the only contention at Grabow was tho union's demand for a semi-monthly pay day Yesterday's battle, however, how-ever, -was precipitated "when union men from DcBIdder attempted to hold a meeting In Grabow. Jam3 Creel, editor of a Socialist paper In St. Louis, arrived in Lake Charles this morning, claiming he had been driven from Oakdale by "guumon" in the employ of mill owners, own-ers, becauso he made Socialist speeches to the workers. rft . |
