Show Convention of National Municipal League Opens in Los Angeles Today Los Angeles, July 8. Executive officers of-ficers and members of sub-committees of the National Municipal league, were busy today completing final preparations for the oponing session tonight of the annual convention tonight. to-night. A parade of all employes of the various municipal departments of Los Angeles was held this morning. Mayor George L. Alexander of Los Angeles will make the address of welcome wel-come tonight to which Dr. Albert B. Hart of Harvard university will respond. re-spond. Active meetings of the members of the league are scheduled to continue through Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday has been set aside as a day of rest. On Friday the proposed new city charter of Los Angeles will be discussed and the organization will take final adjournment. William Dudley Foulke of Richmond. Rich-mond.
