Show DICK COOLLY IS MAD. Dick Cooley, owner nnd manager of the Salt Lake baseball club of the Union league, has advertised his club for sale and announced his Intention of leaving Salt Lake. Too many finer, seem to have gotten on Cooley's nerves. Ho has been fined repeatedly this season because of his questionable question-able deportment in the baseball park, and ho 1b now quoted as claiming that W. H. Lucas, president of tho league, is responsible for the fines that have been heaped upon him Cooley claims that he can't run a ball team successfully in Salt Lake while President Lucas orders the league around, and he adds that he doesn't intend to try to mafJe it go. According to his statement, he has a prospective buyer for the club, and he declares that he will sell it at tho first opportunity It Is rumored that Chester N. Sutton may be Cooley'a prospective buyer. |
