Show MISS WEBB IS LATOTO REST (From Sacrod Heart) When the Christmas joy seemed to fill all hearts and bright anticipations of merry gatherings cheered tho evon sometimes despondent, there passed away from earth and its grim shadows shad-ows a gentle soul that always seemed more akin to heaven than earth. For five years Vivian Webb had been an Inmate of Sacred Heart academy, where she endeared herself to. teach-ors teach-ors and companions by ler amiable, Bweet, unobtrusive ways. Coming to the institution when but 11 years of age, she foil but one regret, the parting part-ing from a good, kind father, whose heart today Is saddened by her loss How unceasingly he watched by her bedside during the long weeks of her lingering illness, those in attendance at tho hospital can testify. Now that God In His wiBdom has decreed that the lonely father shall live In the hope of an eternal reunion, We feel sure that one of his sveetest consolations is the memory of dear Vivian's obedient, obedi-ent, trustful 'life. Having lost her mother when but six years of age, all her love and confidence were bestowed bestow-ed on her devoted father, whose word to her was law and whose will wns an obligation. If. as tho poet says. "Time changes all things but memory, mem-ory, and that nothing can change." then through tho many hours that in future this dear father must spend alone, a bright beam will guido his eyes to that homo where his child awaits him in the eternal reunion, where partings are unknown. The faculty and students of Sacred Heart academy extend sincere and tender sympathy to friends and relatives rela-tives of the deceased, especially to her good father. Brigham Webb. oo |
