Child Nearly Drowned While he ws suffering from a fit of epilepsy, Charles Warren, rlvc-ycar-old son of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Warren, 2046 Llb-ety Llb-ety avenue, fell into a ditch of water that flows past the family home, and was nearly drowned Monday night before be-fore he was rescued. The child fell into the water about 8 o'clock, and was unable to get out. Neighbors hurried hur-ried to his rescue, and Dr. C. E. Coulter Coul-ter was called to attend him. The child was restored to consciousness and he is now out of danger. The railroad company has i v advised Superintendent J. W. Bailey that the trolley wire for the extension exten-sion will arrive In the city within the next week or ton days. Patrol Officer Ed M. Rowe of the State Industrial school lectured to the young people of Wilson Sunday evening eve-ning on the. subject of "Vlrtuo and Industry." Leave of Absence Miss Elizabeth Costigan, assistant patrol officer of the State Industrial school, has been given, leave of absenqe for six weeks to visit licr parents in ' New York.
