Show MONTHLY HEALTH REPORTJF CITY In the monthly health report of the city, submitted to tho board of health Monday by George Shorten, sanitation sanita-tion Inspector for the city, 22 cases of contagion were enumerated. There! 0 1 tarns"a- " "3 was one case of scarlet fever, 9 of smallpox, 4 of diphtheria, 2 of measles, meas-les, 2 of chicken pox and 4 of whooping whoop-ing cough. Thirty-nine quarantine cases were released during the month of June, and 17 cases are still under quarantine. Mr. Shorten's report shows that there were 36 births and 22 deaths in June, as compared with 44 births and 27 deaths In May. Explanatory of the conditions under un-der which a quarantine may be raised, Dr. Anna Reis FInley presented to the board the following letter from the secretary of the state board of health: "Salt Lake, June 25, 1912.
