Show Six Candidates for the Ohio Gubernatorial Nomination Columbus, July 2. E. J. Dillon, common pleas Judge, ofColumbus, was nominated for governor on the fifth ballot at the Republican state convention today. The nomination camo as a surprise, as Dillon was a candidate for justice of the state supreme su-preme court. On the first ballot, which resulted in no choice, the four leading candidates candi-dates for governor received votes as follows: Lawrence K. Langdon of Lebanon, 203; D. F. Apdersou of Youngstown. 102 1-2; B. H. Kroger of Cincinnati, 156 ;and A. L. Garford of Elyrls, 232 1-2. There was a scattered complimentary compli-mentary vote to several others. rvo |
