Show I uu- BETTER ROADS SHOULD BE BUILT "Qull" Nebeker, the Rich county statesman, is In the city today meeting meet-ing with friends and Incidentally wearing good roads boosting clothes. Mr Xcbelter is enthusiastic over the proposition of building an automobile auto-mobile trail across the country from Ogden to Rich county by way of Beaver Bea-ver Creeli and he says that it should be attended to nt an early time. Rich count people would like very much to be connected with Ogden by a first-class road over which automobiles au-tomobiles and other traveling vehicles vehi-cles could be driven with comfort and ease If this were accomplished, Mr. Nebeker says, the prettiest mountain road in the state would be placed in use and the scenic beauty of Ich and Weber counties could bo made known to the outside. Bear Lake and all the other pretty places where the fishing Is good could be visited in a short drive over the mountains, and the trip eventually would become the most popular In the intermountain region Mr Nebeker says the next legislature legis-lature should provide that good roads shall be built with the inheritance i tax money or with the money from j the bond issue of $1,500,000, not overlooking over-looking the fact that the state capi-tol capi-tol building is to be erected. If the inheritance tax money Is used for good roads the bond Issue should be used for the capltol building, but if the inheritance tax money is placed In the capltol fund, then the bond money mon-ey should go to the building of roads. |
