Mrs Rces. who lived alone, had been 111 for some time with gastritis but had refused to believe that sho wns not able to take caro or herself and had rejected pffers of friends to stay with her at night until she should be entirely recovered Mrs. Itees was bom In England In IS-iS, coming to Salt Lake In 1S64. She mado her home In tho Ninth ward, where she has resided ever since She was a conscientious member ot tho Mormon church John W. Rees, the lato huBband of Mrs. Rces, was a well known blacksmith, black-smith, who for many years had a snop near his home.
