Show EVIDENCE FOR DEFENSE IN SOOLECASE The trial of the $5,000 damage suit of Emory W. Soule against A. E. Weatherby et al. was resumed In Judge Howell's court this morning, the plaintiff having concluded the Introduction In-troduction of testimony yesterday afternoon af-ternoon Dr. E. C. Rich and Dr. Anna Ries-Finley Ries-Finley testified yesterday aftornoon to the manner in which "the Injuries were received and their extent. The plaintitff claimed he had no warning warn-ing of the pit on the sidewalk into which he fell and that there were no barriers at the place sufficient to protect pedestrians. The doctors told of the aged man's broken leg and dislocation dis-location of the shoulder. This morning Mr. Weatherby testified tes-tified that tho pit was properly guarded and that It was next to impossible im-possible for the plaintiff to havo fallen fall-en Into the excavated place from the east side, which is next to the main part of the basement of the building. He said that every precaution had been taken to advise the traveling public of tho excavation. The following jurors are hearing the case: William A. Harrop, Alfred Dixon, C. W. Rhees, C. R.
