Brohm was charged with an assault as-sault on tho pprson of William White, March 12, 1912. and he was found guilty In thc Municipal court, a fino of ?25 being imposed by Judge Reed-er Reed-er An appeal was taken to tho district dis-trict court. The facts In tho case brought at thc trial In the lower court were that Brohm gac Williams a beating nfter an altercation at tho Brohm restaurant restau-rant on Wall aonue between Twenty-fourth and Twenty-fifth streets, a fifteen- ear girl, the daughter of Brohm, bblng involved In the controversy. con-troversy.
