When Oliver had fallen to the ground, Dalabassa proceeded to kick his prostrate pros-trate opponent In tho face, according to the story of tho police. Ono of tho blows from Dalabassa caught Oliver on tho left thumb, fracturing thov bone. Oliver's bead was badly bruised, many dceji gashes being cut in the scalp. Dalabassa was arrested some tlmo after the fight by Officer A. B. Vance, who had also taken Oliver to the station. sta-tion. Oliver, while badly battered, was not seriously injured by Dalabassa.
