H Moorebead told the officers last H night that ho was not the man they B wanted and that if they would tele- H graph certain parties at Seattle they H would find that he was at Seattle at H the Unit the alleged offense was com- H mitted in Kentucky. The telegram H was sent last evening and this mora- """""H ing It was answered that Moorehead H was at Seattle at the time stated. """"H Moorehead was accompanied by his H wife, a stylish colored woman. She """"""H wailed patiently for his release during H the night. Moorehead was arrested H yesterday attcrpoon as he and his H wifo alighted from a train from tho H north.
