Show NATIONAL LEAGUE. St. Louis Wins and Ties. ST. LOUIS, May 29. The local team won the first game and tied the second of a first double-header with Cincinnati Cincin-nati today. In the opening game SL Louis scored two runs on two singles, an error and a baBe on balls in the eighth. The second game was called because of darkness due to an impending thunderstorm. Smith saved Cincinnati Cincin-nati by superb pitching in the seventh, going in with Allen on third and no one out. McLean's error gave St. Louis the tleing run. Scores: ' First game R. H. E.
