Show One of the Tobacco People Says There Will Be No Upset Chicago, May 30. Geo. B. Moos, president of tho J. & B. Moos company, com-pany, the principal result of the supremo su-premo court decision in tho Tobacco caso will be a strict definition of exactly what the Sherman law prohibits pro-hibits and what It allows. "That, in reality," said Mr. Moos, "is the real bone of contention As I understand tho caso, and tho telegrams tele-grams I have recelvod today, the decision de-cision simply remands the whole business busi-ness back to the United States circuit cir-cuit court In New York that originally original-ly passed on tho matter to work out a plan of reorganization In conjunction conjunc-tion with the companies affected. "We will do everything wo can possibly pos-sibly do to help the court reorganize our business This will be a complicated compli-cated and tedious thing and will require re-quire a vast amount of labor So far thore has been nothing done toward that end By that I mean that we did not make any plans for reorganization reorganiza-tion In anticipation of the decision as there were so many ways the decision might havo been given Now wo will get to work and do all wo can. "Personally, I don't think the decision de-cision will affect tho business of any of the subsidiary companies. We will go right along dojng business and cw erythlng will be straightened out." |
