Show i oo SENTENCED TO STATE PRISON Oscar Fisher and Thomas Humphries, Hum-phries, the two boys held In the county coun-ty Jail In connection with the robbery rob-bery of box cars in tho Southern Pacific Pa-cific yards, have been liberated by the Juvenile court and w'ill be sent to their homes. Both of the boys were less than IS years of age and are not believed to be bad youths, although they have been associating with bad company since coming to Ogden. Fisher's parents par-ents reside In Napa, Cal., and Humphries' Hum-phries' homo Is In Idaho Falls, Ida. The boys left their homcB several months ago and accidentally met in this city. Since this meeting they have been chums and at the tlmo of their arrest were In tho company of John Riley and Roscoe Brightwell, the two boys held for the burglary of Southern Pacific box cars. This afternoon Riley and Bright-well Bright-well were taken before the district court and given sentences. Riley, who is 19 years old and who admitted admit-ted his gull: In connection with the present charge, was sentenced to 6ervo two jcara In the state prison. Brightwell. who is 20 years of age. was sentenced to two and one-half years. Both youths admitted, ohat thej had been arrested on previous occasions for thefL rn |
