Show "WINNING MISS" ORPHEUM THEATER SUNDAY, MAY 14th At no time since tho advent of Musical Mus-ical Comedy, has there been as fow big musical attractions en tour this season. The reason for this can be attributed to the enormous expense attached at-tached to an attraction of this sort that carries fifty or more people and the poor patronage on the whole. As a consequence, tuc mediocre shows have been unable to stand the strain and are not on the road, while attractions attrac-tions that are extra good continue en tour and do a satisfactory business. It is an example of survival of the fittest A big production has to do business to operate and a musical show can not do 'business unless it gives great satisfaction. "A Winning Miss," termed the real musical comedy, com-edy, is one that has survived and thrived because It is one of tho few big musical successes of the season; and for that reason should not be missed by those that enjoy catchy music, clean comedy, beautiful girls and charming stage pictures.
