Show "DAVE "TERRY' AGAIN IN JAIL Dave Terry, tho prisoner who was believed to havo effected his oscapo from tho city jail while on his way to the court room from the prison door yesterday morning, was later found by the police In tho prson corridor. Terry who, according to the police, j appears to be slightly unbalanced, loft , the prison door with the rest of the prisoners and was escorted Into the court room by the guards Hero ho left tho rest of tho prisoners and svould probably have loft the building had Officer Tom Lever noj stopped him Lever asked the man his name and he gave a name which was not on the complaints Knowing, however, that the man was a prisoner, the Officer Of-ficer locked aim up again After this Officer Levor was called to some other part of the building and was not on hand to .explain matters when the search was made for the mls.v Ing prisoner. When ho was told of tiie mysterious disappearance of Tor- ry ho told of having locked him up and the mystery was solved. When Terry appeared in police court this" morning, on the charge of being drunk, he was given a suspended suspend-ed sentence of 30 days with instructions instruc-tions to Ipave the city. oo |
