Show Society Notes SHOWER FOR MRS. BEARD A shower was given at the L.- D. S. church in honor of Mrs. Chas. Beard. About. 75 guests were present and an enjoyable afternoon was spent visiting visit-ing and playing games. Mrs. Beard was the recipient of many beautiful and .useful articles. P. H. C. CLUB Mrs. Joseph Smith was hostess to the P. II. C. club at her home Friday Fri-day evening. Five hundred was the evening's entertainment. Mrs. Winnie Win-nie Johnson received high score, and Mrs. C. L. Ford the consolation. A two course luncheon was served at small tables decorated with cosmos The following guests were present: j Mesdames Winnie Johnson, Mrs. A '. I Johnson, Nettie Kirk, Lou Moore, Mrs. C. L. Ford, Ardath Johnson, Mrs. W. O. Carlson and Susia Smith. COMMUNITY CLUB MEETS On Saturday evening the South Milford Community club held its regular meeting in the Community Hall. The business of the club was conducted by President "W.. C. Cates. Plana fV HlQ lirin ta'c, nniiirltinc discussed. The remainder of the evening was spent at progressive "500" after which the committee in charge served chili and coffee to all present. BRIDGE PARTY A number of Milford people atend-ed atend-ed the bridge party in honor of Miss Lucille Franke at the home of Mrs. W. F. Knox at Beaver last Friday afternoon. A most pleasant afternoon after-noon was enjoyed by Mrs. Frank Gospill, Miss Glands GoiniH. .Mrs. Walter E." Weber, Mrs.. W. C. Cates, Mrs. Rolf - Bellingm, Mrs. Addison Bybee, and Mrs. J. R. Murdock. The Social Hour Club of South Milford was entertained by Mrs. Walter Cook on Thursday afternoon. |
