Show Four Days Entertainment Planned To Help Swell School Ground Fund The dates, September 14-15-16-17, have been flashed on the screen at the Orpheum and have caused a great amount of wonderment. Now these dates are brim-full of attractions, attrac-tions, and a part of the proceeds will go for the school grounds, which will benefit every resident of Milford and the members of their families. The P. & B. W. Club, with the beneficial help of the Orpheum, is working hourly to swell the amount for this purpose. A certain amount of the proceeds on these dates will be turned over to the Lions club, who have undertaken this praiseworthy praise-worthy enterprise. Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. I 14 and 15, a domestic comedy-drama, comedy-drama, entitled "The Trouble With Wives," featuring Ford Sterling. Florence Vidor and Tom Moore, and brim-full of chuckles. Thursday and Friday, Sept. 10 and 17, lovely Norma Shearer, in a fascinating fas-cinating picture. "Slaves of Fashion." Fash-ion." It's up to Norma's standard. Besides the photoplay on Tuesday Tues-day and Wednesday a sparkling, j gleeful event will be presented: Sdng, "Hello, People." ' Musical introduction of characters, Reading and chorus, "Hats," by 12 of Milford's prominent beauties. Song, "Valencia." Character dance. Song in character by a well known local artist, "Down by the Wiuegar Woiks." Reading, "Down by the Old Swimming Swim-ming Hole," with a bathing revue and ukelele chorus. Thursday and Friday, Sept. 10 and 17, a Fashion Revue, interspersed interspers-ed with vaudeville stunts, acts and songs that will startle and thrill you. Character sketch by a charming comedienne. Beauty shoppe revue. Quartette by talented and popular popu-lar ladies. Fancy dance by a little tot who will some day be world renowned. Hat review, including Paris patterns, pat-terns, street and dress hats. Fashion review of the latest styles of the first fall showings. 1 Then a number on the program that will send everybody away happy, hap-py, by a popular and charming Milford Mil-ford girl. |
