Show Flood Control Plan is Now Outlined Rapid City. S. D. The advisability of calling congress into session November No-vember 1 was discussed by President Coolidge with Secretary Hoover, who came to the summer White House on his way to California. Breaking an established custom, the president motored mo-tored to the station to meet White House guest and greeted the secretary when he alighted from his train at Custer and took him to the game lodge for luncheon. It was the first visit of a cabinet officer since the president came to the Black Hills and the two sat for several hours on the front porch of the lodge in conference. Later. Mr. Coolidge brought the secretary secre-tary to Rapid City to confer with the newspaper writers. |
