Show FUNERAL OF CALVIN DENNIS MANHARD Calvin D. Manhard passed away Monday, July 11th, at his home in Adamsville. Mr. Manhard has been suffering for several weeks until death called him. About two months ago Mr. Manhard was attacked by a severe tooth trouble. The best medical med-ical aid possible was secured, but poison from his teeth seemed to go all through his system and was the cause of his death. Calvin Dennis Manhard was born in Beaver City, December 9, 1888. He was the son of Wm. and Sarah Manhard. The family lived at North creek during Calvin's boyhood days. He was noted for his honesty and integrity. If Mr. Manhard thought a thing to be right or wTong, he would hold to his belief, showing he had a mind of his own. A wife, Mrs. Mae Manhard, five children, Llia age 12, Williag, age 8; John, age 6; Wallace, age 4; Wesley Wes-ley James, one year; a mother, Mrs. Sarah Manhard; a sister, Silvia Hou-ten, Hou-ten, and two brothers, Carlos and John, are all left to mourn his death. The funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p. m. at the Adamsville Adams-ville Ward meeting house. Male quartet selections by Frank Smith, Geo. and Chase Murdock and Ernest Shipp. The first number was "Oh, My Father." Brother T. L. Griffiths offered th eopening prayer, folowed by "I Know My Redeemer Lives." Brother Tom Gunn, Chase Murdock and Walter Tolton were the principal speakers. "Near My God to Thee" was rendered as a closing song. Bishop Chas. Johnson offered th benediction. . The beautiful floral offerings were carried by five girls. Interment was made in the Mountain View cemetery. ceme-tery. A large number of cars loaded load-ed with friends and relatives followed fol-lowed the remains to the grave. Beaver City Press. |
