Show MANY CELEBRATE ON PIONEER DAY Minersville celebrated Pioneer day July 25 and 26. A large crowd was present to enjoy the day. The first day opened with a big parade consisting con-sisting of floats, by each organization organiza-tion of the church. The Sea Gull Girls, Beehive Girls, Utah's Best crop by primary. Miss Lola Roberts was queen and her attendants were Miss Viola Williams and Miss Fothering-ham. Fothering-ham. Then there was the pioneer float and the Indians, A splendid program was given at the church. The afternoon was taken up with races, and the evening closed with a big dance at Hanging Rock. July 26 was devoted to races, pulling contests, and other sports. We hope to have a more complete report in our next issue. o |
