FOTHERINGHAM ENTERTAINS CLUB Mrs. June Fotheringham was hostess to her sewing club last Thursday night. Refreshments were served during the evening. Special guests were Mrs. Shirley Hollingshead and Mrs. Oixie Lamb. Members present were Mrs. Iona Oaxter, Mrs. Verna Tomsik, Mrs. Josephine Killam, Mrs. Irene Griffiths, Grif-fiths, Mrs. Barbara Whitbeck, Mrs.. Marie Johnson and Mrs. Vos Baxter. MILS. OWEN SMITH ENTERTAINS FRIEND S Mrs. Owen R. Smith was host&ss to a group of her friends Tuesday evening, August 5. Cut flowers from the Smith gardens were used as decorations. Bridge was played, with Mrs. Fay Bradfield winning high points, Mrs. Edgar Moore, honors, and Mrs. Robert Colburne the consolation consola-tion prize. A delicious salad course was served by the hostess, assisted by her mother, Mrs. Cross. Others present were Mrs. Earl Stone-hocker, Stone-hocker, Mrs. W. G. ' CALIFORNIANS HERE TO OBSERVE ANNIVERSARY Mrs. and Mrs. S. H. Fotheringham Fothering-ham and daughter of Los Angeles, and Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Crookston and daughter Marilyn of Las Vegas were in Milford last Thursday to help celebrate the 80th birth anniversary anni-versary of Mrs. Nellie Sdiow, mother of the two ladies. On Friday night of last week the family had a canyon party, with J. H. Weston and d --.lighter Beverly, Mr. and Mrs. Crockston. Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Schow, and Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth and son Neil, in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Fotheringham were one-day visitors, while Mr. and Mrs. Crookston were here a week as house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Smyth. NORMA MASTROS IS MARRIED TO JOHN WHITE Miss Norma Helen Mastros, daughter of Mrs. L. P. Coleman, was married on Wednesday, July 30th, at Las Vegas, Nev., to John Roy White, son of Mrs. Lucylle White. The couple will make their home in Las Vegas, where Mr. White is employed. SUNDAY SCHOOL ENJOYS OUTEVG AT HANGING ROCK The officers and teachers of the Milford ward Sunday School had an outing at Hanging Rock last Friday evening. The group enjoyed the hayride to their destination, the hamburgers fried over the coals, ice cold watermelon, wat-ermelon, games and dancing.
