Show ADAMSVILLE A number of Beaver relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Puffer spent Sunday Sun-day at the Puffer home. Miss Nelda Littlefleld left Monday for Santaquin where she will visit with relatives for some time. Samual Johnson of Beaver was here visiting with his parents for a few days last week. Thomas MacAlley of Salt Lake City made his sister and family a visit here during the week end. Melbourne Heslington, wife and little lit-tle daughter of Milford spent Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Heslington. (Too Late for Last Issue) Samuel Johnson, Jr. has been on the sick list for the past week. There are three missionaries of the Utah Gospel mission of Cleveland, Ohio here, at Adamsville visiting each home giving their news on the subject of mormonism and Christianity compared. com-pared. Those who spent their holidays in California, Salt Lake City and Provo report having had a very pleasurable trip. Carlyle Smith wife and little son of Beaver spent Monday afternoon at Aberdare with the Baldwin family. There are a number of babies here suffering with very bad colds. The old folks dance given here Dec. 31 was a big success. The hall was crowded with jolly dancers the music was equal to the occasion. A lap luncheon was served at midnight. Messrs Hubble and Joe Eyre, members mem-bers of the County Library board passed pas-sed through here on their way to Beaver where a library board meeting was held Tuesday, January 6. Miss Roberts of Minersville spent the week end at the home' of Miss Delia Johnson. Sunday night Mr. and Mrs. Rube Griffiths were surprised by six couple calling at their home to spend the evening playing cards and listening to the radio, coffee, cake and sandwitches were served at 11 o'clock. |
