Show CHARITY DANCE IS PREDICATED SUCCESS Sale of tickets for the dance to be held at Arion Hall January 24 for the benefit of the needy of Milford is progressing pro-gressing and considerable funds are being raised for the much needed charitable work. , The dance is being sponsored by the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and as fast as the tickets are sold, the organization is putting the money into in-to use for food, clothing and fuel for the unemployed and needy families of the city. Much relief has already been accomplished ac-complished but more money is needed and it is hoped by the trainmen that a good turn out for the dance will raise funds in addition to that already acquired through the sale of tickets. The work is under the able direction of H. W. Morris, A. J. Jensen, L. Lee, F. W. McKay, and E. A. Mathews who make up the committee handling the dance and who have been untiring workers in forwarding the charitable enterpris. |
