Show MILFORD BALL TEAM , TO FLAY LAS VEGAS The Caliente Labor Day committees are getting their plans well outlined for the big celebration and the following fol-lowing program is being worked out for the baseball activities: On Satur- day, September 1st, the Las Vegas j anil Mil ford teams will play at Cali- I ente, and possibly two other teams; I on Sunday, one or two further games ! will be played and the final for the j grand prize on Monday. The rodeo plans are working out nicely and an j interesting afternoon is promised. I Owing to the high price of cattle, I the steer roping will, in all probabili- ! ty, be eliminated, but the broncho i riding will be an interesting feature I and competition is expected to be ' keen in this event with riders from all I sections of Lincoln county and neigh boring ranges participating. The boxing contests will be held under the auspices of the Lincoln county Post of the American Legion which insures a good program, r.nd will be managed by Jack Gorham. A well balanced card is promised and the affair will lake place in the. Rex Theatre, the final details will be shortly announced. The committee on dancing, Otto W. Olson, chairman, announces an-nounces that the Wilcox orchestra will play and every effort will be made for the comfort of the guests at the dances, which will be held on Saturday and Monday nights.
