Show CHURCH NOTES METHODIST EPISCOPAL Dr. Charles W. Hancher will conduct con-duct our Fourth Quarterly Conference Confer-ence this next Thursday, August 16. at 7:45 P. M. We welcome you to this meeting, if you are interested in the past achievements, present condition condi-tion and future of the church. The Annual Conference of the Utah Mission this year will be held at Price, beginning August 30th., and lasting over Sunday. Our own Bishop Mead will preside. Due to the kindness of Miss Wil-marth, Wil-marth, who is visiting Mrs. G. R. Wilcox, our church hymnals have been rebound. We feel indebted to her by reason of this courtesy and service. ser-vice. Miss Sophronia E. Hawley, who made so many friends in Milford while visiting her sister, Mrs. Vena Wilson, has sent us just recently her check for twenty-five dollars to apply on church expenses. It makes us happy to know that Miss Hawley believes in our work, even thought its limitations limita-tions are so manifest. The Ladies' Aid Society re-elected all the officers of last year. The present status of this organization is splendid indeed. Mrs. Roy Coleman was received into membership Thursday. Thurs-day. Many thanks for a fine vacation. Mr. Root. |
