Show ' SCHOOL BOARD AT PRICE I BORROWS BIG SUM At a regular meeting of the Carbon Car-bon school board Wednesday of last week it was decided to borrow $150,-000 $150,-000 to cover surrent expenses be-' tween the opening date of school and December 20th. The money is to be gotten on tax anticipation notes. Clerk George E. Ockey was instructed to get bids from various bond houses. These will be considered at the first meeting in August. B. S. Eggertson from Sunnyside is the member assigned as-signed the task of looking into the matter of a transportation contract from Wellington to the Carbon high. J. A. Forsyth is to supply and install the plumbing and heating fixtures up at Standardville. Trustee George Ruff reported that the new building at Scofield would be ready in ample time for schaal. A hundred dollars was given the Carbon county fair this fall. A quit claim deed, which had been executed on the property where the building at Spring Glen is constructed, was accepted by the Latter-day Saints church by the board.
