Show MINERSVILLE NEWS The Daughters of the Pioneers held a social at Hanging Rock park, Monday Mon-day afternoon. The time was spent in dancing, after which luncheon was served. Linen Shower The Misses Beth Rollins, Elva and Rita Hall entertained at a Linen Shower Monday evening in honor of Mrs. Newell Marshall. Thirty guests were present. Mjany beautiful and useful gifts were received. Miss Clysta Osborne entertained the Seagull Girls at her home Friday evening. A dainty luncheon was served ser-ved to twelve guests. Miss Maude Mathews of Delta, spent Friday here visiting with relatives rela-tives and friends. Mrs. Theodore Eyre and son DeRay, left here Thursday for Caliente, Nevada, Nev-ada, where they will visit with Mr. Eyre who has employment in the railroad rail-road shops there. Ernest Cooley, of Overton, Nevada, is here visiting with his mother, Mrs. L. C. Cooley. Mr. and Mrs. Alviii H Baker and children, of Milford, were here Saturday Sat-urday visiting with relatives. Miss Lucille Hall, of Compton, California, Cal-ifornia, is here as the guest of Iona Hall. Miss Margaret Griffith, of Beaver, spent the past week here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Mark Rollins. Mr. and Mrs. Abram Wood received word Thursday of the arrival of a baby boy at the home of their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Ella Smith, in Venice, Cal. |
