Show f MINERSVILLE Melvin Rollins of Lyman, Wyoming Wyom-ing has spent the past week here with relatives and friends. Mrs. Angus White and baby of Beaver are guests at the W. B. Hall home. Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo King of Helper, spent a few days here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Colton and son Farrell of Ogden spent a few days here last week. Mrs. Ray Goodwin and baby of Beaver, are here at the George Baker Bak-er home. Mr. and Mrs. D. A. McKnight made a business trip to Beaver Saturday. Sat-urday. The speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday night were Brothers Hes-lington Hes-lington and Beecher of Milford and Melvin Rollins of Wyoming. The Trail Builders classi of the L. D. S. Primary will furnish the program pro-gram at Sacrament Meeting January Mrs. Joseph Wood underwent an operation at the Milford hospital Friday. Leon Davis was operated on at the Milford hospital Tuesday. Monday evening, January IS. a musical will be given in the L. D. S. Chapel under the direction of the Sunday school. Miss Marjorie Rasmussen returned return-ed to her home at Parowan Saturday after visiting here for two weeks. Randell Banks and son Burton are spending a few days in Iron County. Mrs. Jennie Carter returned home Friday after spending a week in Washington county. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Banks and Benjamin Ben-jamin Banks were called to Eureka Sunday on account of the4 death of the eight-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Evert Allison. Minersville School Notes The Pep Club met last Thursday and elected the following officers George Young, president; Nona Marshall, Mar-shall, vice president; Gertrude Carter, Car-ter, sec. 8i Treas.; Helen Pryor, song leader; Lois Carter and Margie Blackburn, cheer leaders. Last Friday's Assembly program was given by the "Pep Club" under the direction of the President, George Young. "Bits of Blarney" an operetta in two acts, by Ottis M. Carrington, will be presented by the Minersville Junior Jun-ior High school January 20, 1932 at 8 rp. m. in the high school auditorium, auditor-ium, directed by Mr. Isaacson. Cast of characters are: Patrick Clark Hall; Peggy, Shirley Fotheringham; Mary, Evelyn Roberts; Robert, Lysle Corbridge; Agnes, Ada Roberts; Rosie, Bertha Carter; Mike O'Noole, Billie Fotheringham. |
