Show SOUTH MILFORD . County Agent Lew Mar Price made a few business calls on the Flat last Friday. The many friends of Mrs. Kent Smith will regret to learu that she has been quite ill for the past two weeks. Howard Gospill has jus., returned from a trip to Los Angeles in the interests! in-terests! of his cattle business. The Social Hour club held an interesting in-teresting session last Thursday afternoon after-noon at the club house when the annual an-nual reception took place and yearly reports were made. Mrs. Parley Fisher was elected as president for the ensuing year with Mrs. Harold Sautter as vice president and Mrs. Arthur Williams as sec'y.-treas. Mrs. Ralph Ellingsworth was made a member of the club. Mrs. Cora Kim-say Kim-say of Oregon City, Washington was the guest of the afternoon. The hostesses, hos-tesses, Mesdames Ivan McKnight and Parley Fisher served a delicious two course luncheon at the close of the business session. The next meeting wil, be on Thursday, January 21 with . Mrs. Frank Gospill and Miss Gladys Gospill Gos-pill as hostesses, Mrs. Merrill Miller and Miss Ben-ita Ben-ita James of Black Rock spent Saturday Sat-urday as the guests of Madam and Mrs. Bybee. Billie Haskell is getting about with crutches since his accident on New Year's day when his pony fell crushing Billies leg. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rohn and baby are here from Cedar City spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Cates. The Ag. club boys' of the high school were out last Saturday afternoon after-noon studying the lamb feeding project pro-ject at the Fred Levi feed lot and they also reviewed the dairy herd of Guernsey cows at the Parley Fisher ranch. Among those who attended the reception last Thursday evening given in Milford for the Rev. Dallas McNeil were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gospill and Miss Gladys Gospill, Mr. Eldon Cates, Mrs. W. C-Cates and Dr. and Mrs. Addison Bybee. |
