Show ROBBERY OF GARAGES IS LOCALWORK Last night saw the repetition of a slot machine robbery in the Milford Motor Sales Garage and the P. P. O. O. garages resembling in many details the job done last year in the same garages. Someime after midnight last night theives broke open a rear window of the P. P. O. O. Garage, entered the building, Fmashed the glass door separating sep-arating the office from the shops and rifled the slot machines in the ofiice. They also entered the Milford Motor Mo-tor Sales Garage some time during the night through a rear window, broke a hole through the partition between be-tween the office and shop, and pried open the slot machine and emptied it of its contents. The cash registers of both garages had been emptied by the proprietory before the garages had been closed for the night, so the money in the slot machines, about thirty dollars, was ., all that was stolen. V. Waddoups, proprietory of the Milford Motor Sales Garage and Bill Nichols, owner of the P. P. O. O. reported re-ported the robbery when they discovered discov-ered it this morning and the work of apprehending the theives has been turned over to deputy sheriff Ted Cronholm and City Marshall Roy Coleman. It is the opinion of the garage owners own-ers that the work was done by local men. |
