Show EXCELLENT TALK IS GIVEN AT PROGRAM A splendid talk on what makes a job interesting given by Mrs. Vena Wilson was the outstanding number on the program presented by the Business and Professional Women at student assembly at the high school last Friday Fri-day afternoon. Mrs. Wilson spoke forcefully and humorously, holding her listeners as . she illustrated her points by drawing from her own experiences. She stated that according to her observation pleasant surroundings, sufficient relaxation re-laxation and an aptitude for one's work are the foremost elements in making a job interesting but she prac-. prac-. - tically pointed out that at the present time when work is scarce, the very fact of having a job should be a cause for gratitude. In addition to Mrs. Wilson's talk, there was vocal music by Mrs. V. Davis, Miss Bessie Killam, Mrs. Vivian Viv-ian Hunter and Mrs. Helena McGarry, a solo by Mrs. McGarry and a reading by Mrs. Louise Campbell. Mrs. Annie J. Atkin, president of the organization introduced the program with a talk on the work the club is doing both as a national organization and here in Milford. The program was closed by an expression ex-pression of thanks to the clubwomen by Principal Andrews. This Friday's program will be presented pre-sented by the American Legion. |
