Show LEE BROWN BECOMES ASSOCIATE EDITOR OF IOWA NEWSPAPER From the Bloomfield (Iowa) Democrat: Lee Brown succeeded J. C. Hoglan as associate editor of this paper this week. Brown will assist the editor K. F. Baldridge in the editorial department depart-ment and will also work in the news and advertising departments. Hoglan, who is principal of the the Bloomfield high school, has been assisting in the office during the summer vacation period pe-riod and left for Center Point Saturday Sat-urday where he will enjoy a short visit vis-it with his parents before resuming his duties as head of the local school. Mr. Brown is an experienced newspaper news-paper man and will be a welcome addition ad-dition to the staff of the local papers. For the past two and a half years he has been owner and publisher of the Milford News in Milford, Utah. He is a graduate of Lombard college of Galesburg, 111., and also attended the State. University of Iowa at Iowa City. He is a veteran of the World War, serving with the American troops in France; and a member of the American Legion. Mr. Brown is well known in Bloomfield Bloom-field and Davis county, having spent the greater part of his life here. He is a son of H. C. Brown, county superintendent super-intendent of the schools and has several sev-eral other relatives living in this vicinity. vic-inity.
