Show MILFORD LIONS ENTERTAIN VISITORS Wednesday, while of no special occasion, oc-casion, the Milford Lions club had the pleasure of entertaining a number of honored guests who happened to be in town that day. The result was a very pleasant luncheon. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Cook, of Richfield. Mr. Cook is court reporter of the sixth judicial district under Judge Bates. He was court reporter of this district until eight years ago and has the unique uni-que record of serving in this capacity longer than any court reporter in the state. Mr. Cook was court reporter way back in the territorial days of Utah and served over forty years. State Mine Inspector Hodges, was another guest at the meeting, as was also John ColTeen, of Los Angeles, Ange-les, who is in charge of the drainage work on the Clark land. Among the Beaver Lions present were E. N. Thompson, clerk of the school board, E. S. Tattersall, of the National Guard, and Neils Jensen, sheriff of the county. Previous to the meeting most of the guests were taken to Milford's new swimming pool, where they enjoyed a plunge with the local Lions. In conjunction with the Beaver Lions, delegates were appointed to attend at-tend a meeting in Richfield tonight. Jos. R. Murdock, Jr., was appointed from the Milford club, and E. N. Thompson and Wm.
