Show SWITCH ENGINE AND AUTO COLLIDE Guy Walker and brother Fred Walker, accompanied by H. Agie, narrowly nar-rowly escaped a serious if not fatal accident Tuesday night, when a switch engine struck heir car at the crossing south of the depot, and carried the machine and its occupants sixty feet down the track. The car, a Durant four, was practically prac-tically demolished, but strange to say the occupants escaped with a few slight scratches. The Walker boys are employed by the Compton Construction company, which is putting in the oil road south of Beaver, and have been hauling oil for the company from Milford to Beaver. |
