Show MINERSVILLE I . Mr. J. F. Tolton of Beaver will be the speaker at Sacrament meeting, Aogust 31. The daughters of Pioneers held a meeting at the home of John E. Eyre Sunday afternoon. Miss Evelyn Roberts returned home Thursday after visiting at Fillmore for a week. Mr. and Mrs. D. Frank Griffith and daughter Beverly of Lark, spent the past week at the Lillie Roberts home. Mo-, and Mrs. H. W. Hall and daughter daugh-ter Iona left for St. George Saturday, after spending the past two weeks here. The Misses' Rtvoe Eyre and Delia Johnson, of Adamsville, spent the week-end here with friends. Mr. and Mrs. A..H. Baker and chil-j chil-j dren of Beaver, called on relatives in ; Minersville Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Colton and moth-; moth-; er, Mary Hildebrand, are in Helper. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wood had as I their guests Mr. and Mrs. Gordon j Spietel and daughter, of Los Angeles, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Davidson and ; family of Milford called on relatives j here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Rhodes and children of Salt Lake City spent the I first of the week here. Mrs. James Banks has had as her guests Mr. and Mrs. Alma Banks, of I I Lynndyl. M. L. Lee, of Panaca, Nevada is the guest of Garland Hollingshead. Eugene Hardy is spening a few days at Milford. Miiss Iona Hall was the honored guest' at a farewell party held at her home Thursday evening. Games and music were the diversions. Sixteen guests were present. Miss Hall departed de-parted for St. George, Saturday where she will spend the coming winter. The S. S. S. 4-H club girls enjoyed a waffle breakfast at the home of Mrs. Raymond Banks, Tuesday of last week. The second year 4-H club girls were the honored guests at a Canyon party Friday evening. |
