Show I GREENVILLE I . Mrs. Wesley Bolton, of Kelso, Calif., visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Barton for a few days this week. Mrs. Bolton was formerly Mis? Helen Barton. Miss Maxine Kirk, of Milford, is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Williams. David Reese and Grant Murdock, of Cedar, and Dave Prethero, of Para-goonah, Para-goonah, were in town Sunday. Mrs. Gene Kirk, of Milford, called on relatives here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Thomas and small children, of N'orth Creek, visited Mr. and Mrs. D. K. Barton, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rollins, of Delta, were in town Sunday. Mrs. Rollins was formerly Miss Beryl Pace of Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Spidell, of Calif., called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Blackner Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Calvert motored to Milford Sunday, to take their daughter, Mrs. Lee Paice, who is on her way to her home at Caliente, Nevada, Ne-vada, after a short stay with relatives. relativ-es. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Blackner mo tored to Milford Sunday to visit Mrs. Blackner's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Pe-ter Weidner. Miss Margaret Williams, of Thom-goonah, Thom-goonah, and Mrs. Julia Griffiths, of as, Idaho, who has been visiting relatives rela-tives here, is spending a few days at North Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Lund, of Para-this Para-this place, motored to Milford, Sunday. Sun-day. Miss Linnea Twitchell and Wm. Murdock, of North Creek, were in town Tuesday. Word was received Friday by Mrs. D. J. Williams of the tragic death" of her sister, Mrs. Myrtle Kennedy at her home in Denver, Colorado. A friend, Mrs. Bethel, and Mrs. Kennedy were cleaning clothes with gasoline in the basement of the Kennedy Ken-nedy home. In someway the gas exploded, ex-ploded, compeltely wrecking the home and killing both women. Mrs. Kennedy is also the sister of P. M. Williams, of this place. o |
