Show SOUTH MILFORD NOTES Joseph Gospill left for Arkansas last week after a pleasant summer with his relatives, the F. W. Gospiil family. Mr. and Mrs. Karl S. Carlton and daughter were calling on friends on the Flat last Monday. Mr. Carlton spoke feelingly of the poor roads on the west of the Flat. The Rev. J. B. Leedom of Sawtelle, California is spending a few, days j with his daughter, Mrs. W. C. Cates. He and Mr Cates left on Thursday ; for two days at Bryce canyon and j Cedar Breaks. j The next regular meeting of the Social Hour Club will be on Thursday September 5th, with Mesdames Haskell Has-kell and McKnight, the place to be announced later, j Mrs. Addison Eybee's parents, the i Rev. and Mrs. W. F. Skeele, will leave ; on Monday for Yellowstone Park. Geo. F. Stanley is steadily improving improv-ing and his many friends hope to seo him out soon. Club House Fills Need With the Flower Show, the Auxiliary Auxili-ary Card party and the Community Fair all being held in the club house during August, it seems that the brave souls who struggled to make the club house possible as a recreation center, are being repaid many fold with the present activities. Mrs. Myron Hanchett has been quite ill with tonsilitis. County Agent gives Demonstrations Lew Mar Price, our genial Bureau agent, gave some weed destroying demonstrations the past week. The mild morning glory was the base 01 this demonstration . |
