Show PUBLIC UTILITIES MEN WILL VISIT MILFORD SUNDAY FIFTY PEOPLE TO MAKE POST-CONVENTION TRIP HERE MEET WITH LIONS About fifty members of the United States Securities Commission will visit Milford Sunday. These men will come to southern Utah this week-end, visiting the parks, and then returning this way to look over our mines and lands. The Securities Commissions is now holding a convention of its western division in Salt Lake City, and at tending the meet are many eastern brokers who are interested in the possibilities of southern and southwestern south-western Utah. The Lions Club luncheon was postponed post-poned this week in order that the club might have an opportunity of meeting meet-ing collectively the body of visitors to Milford and of giving them firsthand first-hand information about this section's resources. A joint meeting will be held in the dining room of the Milford hotel at a noon dinner. Details of the progress here agriculturally agri-culturally and .in mining will be given the visiting commissioners and the possibilities of Beaver county will be expounded. The party will leave Cedar City at 7:00 A. M. Sunday morning and will .devote as much time to Milford as they can spare. |
