Show SOCIETY SHOWER Miss Phyllis Levi entertained en-tertained Thursday evening with a handkerchief shower in honor of Dorothy Murdock, who is leaving Sunday Sun-day for San Francisco, where she will attend an art school. A delicious luncheon was served to Hannora Hutchins, Anne Nebeker, Mildred and Bessie Killam, Lola Morris, Mor-ris, Verna Bird, Delia Kirk, Myrtle Osborn, Eva Coleman, Betty Murdock, and Dorothy Levi. i 500 PARTY Miss Myrtle Osborn entertained Friday evening in honor of Dorothy Murdock with a 500 party. The ladies' prize was won by Dorothy Murdock, and the mens' by Charles Glenn. Delightful refreshments were served serv-ed to Georgia Biederman, Phyllis Levi, Hannora Hutchings, Dorothy Murdock, Chas. Glenn, Ray Mills, and Tom Bettridge. DINNER GUESTS-Mrs. J R Murdock Sr., John C. Murdock and Pat Barrett were the dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Murdock Thurs-day NO-HOSTESS CLUB The No-Hostess No-Hostess club entertained at a birthday birth-day dinner in honor of Mrs. J. R Murdock, at the home of Mrs. Jack Thiesson, Saturday evening. Dainty handkerchiefs were presented to the guest of honor. Prizes at bridge were won by Mrs. Spencer Schow, points; Mrs. Kimmel Coon, honors and Mrs. Frank Farmer, consolation.' Those present were Mrs. Wm. Broyles, Mrs. Joe Kinney, Mrs. Frank Farmer, Mrs. Kimmel Coon, Mrs. Spencer Schow, Mrs. S. C. Rusch-meier, Rusch-meier, and the guest of honor, Mrs. Murdock. AUXILIARY ENTERTAINS The Ladies Auxiliary to the American Legion Le-gion sponsored a card party at the South Milford community club house Wednesday afternoon. Sixty-one lauies were present. In the card play, Mrs. C. E Petty, of Beaver, won the prize for high score: Mrs Georee Fernley, honors and Mrs Otto Steen-bock, Steen-bock, consolation. Refreshments were served and the following musical program was given ; solos, Dan Ferguson, accompanied by Dick Kelly; musical readings, Mrs. Louise Campbell, accompanied by Ruth Pool; vocal solo, Mrs. Pitch-forth, Pitch-forth, accompanied by Mrs. Farmer. |
