Show FIFTY-FIFTY CLUB The Fifty-Fifty club met in a very orderly session at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Campbell, Thursday even- ing-, May 16th. The bridge game was delayed 30 minutes for Monty Cope-land Cope-land to wash his face. Otherwise, everything went off smoothly and harmoniously (whatever that means.) Willie Cochrane won first prize, as usual, same being a decanter, without with-out a blinkin' thing in it, and just one glass, concert size. Mrs. Cochrane won ladies' first prize, which was a salad dressing dish and a paddle. Mrs. Copeland received consolation prize, a pair of pelicans for salt and pepper, and H. Lucifier Livergood was low gent, prize being a a well, it was a garment, or something of that kind. Delightful refreshments were served and everyone went home happy. |
