Show BEAVER BRIEFS Mrs. Herbert Stapley and three children have gone to Salt Lake City for a three weeks' visit with Mrs. Stapley's mother, Mrs. Saunders. Dr. and Mrs. Hopkins, Dr. and Mrs. Petty, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Barton Bar-ton spent the week-end at Salt Lake ity. Mr. and Mrs. J. Prank Smith and Mrs. Hattie Yardley spent the weekend week-end in Salt Lake. Mrs. Alvin Baker is spending a few days with her grandmother, Mrs. C. C. Shepherd. Mrs. Cyndia Topham of Para-goonah, Para-goonah, will spend the summer months here with her sister, Mrs. S. W. Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Lenzy Hoopes spent Sunday at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Thomas, at North Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Walburn of Salt Lake City, have moved to Beaver to make their horn. Mrs. R. R. Tanner of Salt Lake, is here visiting her sister, Mrs. J. F. Tolton and other relatives. Miss Venice and Sarah Anderson spent Tuesday in Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Rube Parkenson spent the week-end at Cedar City, as the guests of their son and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Parkenson. Mrs. John Banks of Caliente, is here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Valentine. Mrs. Nancy Burt was called to Cedar City on account of the illness of her daughter, Mrs. Susie Walker. Mrs. Albert Denny, of Park City, is here visiting her grandmother, Mrs. Anna Vincent. Mrs. Lon Cartwright has returned from a three weeks' visit to Provo, where she was the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Susie Bullick. Jess Baker of Minersville, and his sister, Mrs. Lois Johnson, of Cedar City, were visiting relatives here Sunday, on their way to Cedar City. Miss Kate Smith has returned from Cedar City, where she has taught the past school year. Miss Dorothy Williams arrived home Sunday from Tooele, where she has been teaching the past school year. She was accompanied by her brother, Ralph Williams, who has been attending the L. D. S. U., at Salt Lake City. |
