It would appear from the following follow-ing Scriptural citation contained in this Lesson-Sermon that, no matter mat-ter how difficult a situation may seem the necessary widsom and strength awaits the sincere seeker of truth. (Isaiah 59:1) "The Lord'i hand is not shortened, that it cannot can-not save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear." A correlative passage from page 887 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mary Baker Eddy, also included in this Lesson-Sermon, reads: "The history his-tory of Christianity furnishes sublime sub-lime proofs of the supporting influence in-fluence and protecting power bestowed be-stowed on man by his heavenly Father, omnipotent Mind, who gives man faith and understanding whereby to defend himself, not only from temptation, but from bodily suffering." |
