Show St. George Preparing to Entertain Legion George Ballif , state commander of the American Legion, department of Utah, and Otto Wiesley, state adjutant, adju-tant, spent Sunday in St. George conferring con-ferring with the local convention committee on the plans made thus far for the entertainment of visitors at the convention to be held here on August 25, 26 and 27. According to the visitors, this city is one of the best prepared in the state for the accomodation ac-comodation of the large number who will spend three or four days here, and the committee in charge has made the greatest progress of any convention committee for the past several years. Work on the souvenir program has already-started. This booklet will be the means of financing to a great ex-tent ex-tent the convention program. Over 5000 copies of the book will be mailed mail-ed to every member of the Legion and the Auxiliary before the first of August. Washington County News. |
