Show DR. PARKER RESIGNS AS CO. INSPECTOR Dr. J. E. Parker, who has held the position of sanitary inspector in Beaver County for the past eight months, tendered his resignation to j the county commissioners the last of the week, to accept a position as veterinarian vet-erinarian in a animal hospital in Salt Lake City. Dr. Parker has been very efficient in his work as meat inspector in this county and it is probable that this office will remain vacant unless a demand de-mand is made by the people to secure a man for the place. The removal of Dr. Parker from Beaver leaves the county without a veterinarian, which the farmers and livestock men can ill afford. While, the amount of work in the county probably does not justify a resident veterinarian, yet in conjunction with the office of meat inspector the doctor doc-tor was unable to secure sufficient condensation for a livelihood, and the people had the advantage of a veterinarian's services when it was needed. While Dr. Parker has been offered an exceptionally good position in Salt Lake City, his going is a distinct loss to Beaver County. |
